ABOUT US
Second Chance Foundation is the first independent non-profit foundation in Indonesia that focuses on improving the quality of life for Correctional Assistants (WBP) in Indonesia through ongoing training and mentoring programs.

As the name implies, the Second Chance Foundation wants to provide a second chance for the assisted people so that after being free, they become creative, productive, independent, and can be accepted back into their environment as human beings with dignity and not repeat their mistakes.
​
Besides, we also educate the public in the hope that the negative prejudice that develops against WBPs can be replaced with a positive spirit to elevate their rank.

OUR ROLE
The Second Chance Foundation plays a role in assisting the social reintegration process of the Indonesian inmates by improving their quality of life. Also bridging the strategic relationship between the Directorate General of Corrections of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (HAM) with third parties and vice versa.
